Op-Med is a free to access, free to publish medical journal for UK based doctors and trainees

Op-Med is a space where interesting ideas which meet at the interface of medicine can be shared freely between medical professionals, students and members of the public. The NHS is at a point where professional careers in medicine can often get caught up in routine and there are significant challenges to staff morale – it’s more important than ever to tap into the sparks of interest which brought us to this field in the first place. As medical specialists work increasingly in isolation, we want contributors to think about ways that ideas can be shared across specialties through their work. Op-Med’s mission is simple: free to access, free to contribute and free to consume articles on all things interesting and interdisciplinary in medicine.
